by Timothy Inklebarger

The Chicago chapter of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals has elected Robert Padron as its 2021 president.

Padron, managing broker of RE/MAX Cityview, succeeds Ivonne Payes, broker/owner of RE/MAX American Dream, as leader of the largest NAHREP chapter in the nation.

“I am incredibly proud and humbled to be named the 2021 president of NAHREP Chicago,” Padron said in a press release. “This year presented many challenges for our organization as we adopted new technology and pivoted to virtual events. Despite these challenges, we provided amazing speakers, content and entertainment to our membership throughout the year. I look forward to continuing this momentum and an amazing 2021.”

Payes voiced her gratefulness for the opportunity to serve as 2020 president, noting that “we grew and evolved together during this hard time.”

Padron, a 15-year Illinois based veteran broker, is a top producer for RE/MAX and since 2008 has consistently ranked among Chicago’s top real estate leaders.
