What is your style advice for other people in the industry? “Dress shabbily and they remember the dress. Dress impeccably and they remember the woman.” — Coco Chanel
Describe your look: I like simple pieces. I rarely wear prints and I’m usually in black or gray. Not very exciting, but I love it.
What do you consider a “fashion don’t”? Platform sneakers. I guess I just don’t understand the point of them. Sneakers are meant to be active, and I think they actually make it difficult to walk.
What item of clothing gets you the most compliments? I have this slouchy gray off-the-shoulder sweater that I always get compliments on. It is super comfy, loose-fitting and casual, so it is just awesome!
What fashion accessory do you feel naked without? My purse. No purse means nothing to hold, no phone and no wallet.
Who is your style icon? I have always loved Sophia Loren. She was a classy, stylish, Italian bombshell! She looked stunning no matter what she wore and at all ages. She always had a confidence about her that made her attire that much more beautiful.
What’s the most expensive or meaningful accessory or piece of clothing you’ve ever acquired? Do you still have it? My most expensive and most meaningful was my wedding dress, hands down. I had my dress custom made for me at Vwidon in Chicago.
What item in your closet do you wear the most? If I had to pick one item, it is a pair of black Zella leggings. As soon as I get home, or if I’m working from home, it’s my go-to to get comfy.
