What was your most interesting job before going into real estate? I was the early childhood coordinator for a special education cooperative and started a full-day autism program.
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? Walk my dog, Wrigley
What is Chicago’s best-kept secret? It’s the diversity of all of the different neighborhoods. I love trying local restaurants all over the city.
How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? As a former social worker, I know how to listen and really take my time with buyers and sellers and help them through the process.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Helping people understand what their home is worth and how the market can determine pricing
How do you generate new leads? I always do open houses and follow up with buyers. I work rentals. I am in Facebook groups. I am visible, even during the lockdown.
What are you binge-watching lately? I just finished watching Black-ish.
What is your advice for someone new to the industry? Find a company that has great training.

What’s your favorite meal in Chicago? I love sushi and Ethiopian food.
Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Chicago? The Marshall Field Building on State Street. When I was in third grade, I was assigned to build it and report on it for our unit on Chicago.
