A superhero home

Live the luxurious life of Tony Stark without the superhero responsibilities. This $30 million replica of Iron Man’s mansion, known as the Razor House, has hit the market in La Jolla, Calif. With floor-to-ceiling glass walls, outdoor terraces and a rooftop spa, this manse offers more than the Stark experience for the Marvel superfan. Though the Razor House comes with free canyon views overlooking Torrey Pines State Park, an indestructible armored suit is not included.

Christmas all year round

While Santa’s probably too busy to do an equity check, Zillow reports his (fictional) home and workshop just logged a 7.6 percent increase in value year-over-year. Originally built in the early 1800s, the cabin now features a gourmet kitchen with hot cocoa on tap, new floor-to-ceiling fireplace, toy workshop and reindeer stables. And the surrounding property also sports what is perhaps the best application of tiny-home design yet: a village of elf-sized residences, each with its own unique design style, so Santa’s little helpers can live in homes that are best suited to their own personalities.
