Guaranteed Rate is promoting two of its senior vice presidents and divisional managers, James Elliott and Chris Knapp, to Executive Vice Presidents of National Retail Production in the Eastern and Western halves of the country.

Elliott, a former CEO of a successful regional mortgage company, has been with Guaranteed Rate since 2013. His main tasks include recruiting new talent and managing retail production in West, Pacific Northwest, Southwest, Mountain and Plains states markets. Elliott graduated from University of Wisconsin-Madison with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and will now serve as Executive Vice President of National Retail Production in the Western half of the country.

Since joining Guaranteed Rate almost a decade ago, Knapp has been in charge of sales, management and recruiting for Guaranteed Rate’s Central, East and Southeast markets. He holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Miami University and will oversee retail production in the Eastern half of the country.
