The Lowe Group, one of the top real estate teams in Chicago, is joining with real estate technology company Compass as they launch their first Chicago real estate office.
According to a press release, 20 Chicagoland agents have joined Compass including Jeff Lowe, president of The Lowe Group, formerly of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices; Melanie Giglio-Vakos, former senior vice president of sales at Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty; as well as agents Amy Duong Kim, Lauren Mitrick Wood and Caryl Dillon.
“Compass combines the best of real estate technology and real estate talent. That combination is simply unmatched in Chicago’s real estate market,” Lowe said. “Working in Chicago real estate for more than 20 years, I know first-hand that this region is home to some of the country’s best real estate agents and a savvy clientele. We’re excited to continue working with those agents, and to use technology to help our clients sell their homes faster and at higher prices.”
Compass plans to open three offices in Chicago — Lincoln Park, River North/Gold Coast and Bucktown — that will have more than 150 real estate agents, as well as expert managers, marketers, designers and administrators. Joe Siciliano, a 25-year veteran of the market, has also joined Compass in a national role focused on coaching and training.
“At Compass we believe that by empowering agents, we can make the experience of buying or selling a home better for everyone involved,” said Robert Reffkin, co-founder and CEO of Compass. “Jeff Lowe and the Compass Chicago founding agents are leaders in Chicago real estate, and powered by our technology, will help every Chicagoan find their place in the world.”
