Construction begins on Renelle on the River

by Chicago Agent

Construction has begun on Renelle on the River, the 18-story luxury condominium building at 403 N. Wabash Ave., in Chicago’s River North neighborhood, according to Renelle’s developer Belgravia Group.

Recently named New Development of the Year, City by Chicago Agent magazine, the community rests along the Chicago River among architectural landmarks including the Wrigley Building, the London House Hotel and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe’s AMA Plaza. Half of the building’s 50 residences have been sold.

“Renelle on the River is one of the few properties in the area that addresses downtown buyers’ desire for an urban lifestyle with the size and feel of a single-family home,” said Buzz Ruttenberg, founder of Belgravia Group. “And, with only three or four residences per floor, Renelle on the River also offers an uncommon level of intimacy for city dwellers.”

“This long-overlooked site holds tremendous potential for future residents seeking to enjoy city living in an exclusive setting,” he adds. “From the curated finishes in each residence and the building’s upscale amenities to the location at the epicenter of Chicago’s greatest attractions, it’s thrilling to see this project move forward in the construction process.”

Buyers and agents have been able to take part in virtual tours of Renelle on the River through Belgravia’s VR-360 Model Home technology, according to the press release, which has given residents the opportunity to experience the views and floor plans as well as customize finishes for their new home.
