The Realtor Association of the Fox Valley has announced that Joy Baez, a broker at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Starck Real Estate in St. Charles, has been named the 2018 Realtor of the Year.
“The REALTOR of the Year award is the highest honor that our association can bestow upon a member,” said Mark Coleman, the organization’s new president stated in a press release. “It is presented to an individual whose dedication to excellence has most profoundly enhanced the professional image of Realtors in our association.”
“I joined the real estate profession in 1990 and have not looked back since,” Baez said. “Over the years, I have come to believe in hard work and face-to-face relationships based on trust. But my ultimate joy is from helping people.”
Baez served on the board of directors for the Realtor Association of the Fox Valley for three years and has been a member of its Professional Standards Committee for 10 years. She also served on the Realtors Political Action Committee for seven years.
Baez will be presented her award at the Realtor of the Year banquet on Apr. 9, 2018, in Springfield.
