CNBC has announced it will produce a new original series co-starring Sean Conlon, the owner of CONLON/Christie’s International Real Estate.
Called “The Deed,” the show will follow Conlon and New Orleans-based broker Sidney Torres as they come to the aid of struggling property investors. The two will offer their own cash and expertise in exchange for a piece of the properties – which range from single-family homes to multifamily developments – and a percentage of the profits; once a deal is struck, they will become involved in the process of turning the property around.
“‘The Deed’ explores a side of real estate that other property shows ignore – an unflinching look at how fortunes are really made in the unpredictable and cutthroat world of real estate flipping and development,” read a press release from CNBC.
The program, which will run eight one-hour episodes, is produced by Cineflix, and will air March 1, 2017 at 9 p.m.
