Hibbard Gardens

Edward R. James Companies received two awards at the Homebuilders Association of Greater Chicago’s Key Awards.

The real estate developer earned a Gold Key Award for Best Overall Community in the category of “Community Design and Planning” for Hibbard Gardens, a recently completed project in Northfield. The second Gold Key Award was for Excellence in New Construction for its luxury, custom home located at 1425 Glenview Road in Glenview.

“We are honored to receive these awards, and we thank the Homebuilders Association of Greater Chicago for this recognition,” said Jerry S. James, president of Edward R. James Companies. “We’ve taken tremendous pride in building in North Shore communities for the past six decades, and this recognition simply furthers our commitment.”

A panel of experts from the HBAGC toured and evaluated a variety communities throughout the Chicagoland area prior to presenting the Best Overall Community award to Hibbard Gardens. The development is made up of six luxury single-family homes and fills the 3.68-acre infill location at Hibbard and Winnetka roads. Each home offers first-floor master suites, New England Fieldstone and stucco with a cedar shake roof.
