In 2016, a minimalistic, off-the-grid lifestyle will take on a whole new meaning. The Ecocapsule, an egg shaped, environmentally friendly portable house created by Nice Architects, will allow anyone to live anywhere in the world for up to a year. The 86-square-foot home sleeps two adults and is self-sufficient with solar panels, a wind turbine and the ability to collect rain water. Nice Architects plan to introduce a standard version of the Ecocapsule, but intend to offer customized versions in the future. You can pre-order the Ecocapsule as soon as the last quarter of 2015 when pricing will be announced. Take a look inside this compact home.
