The Residences at The Grove in Forest Park offers luxury condominiums, upscale amenities and a walk-to-town location; condominiums from $144,900, townhomes from $299,900

Northfield-based Focus Development has lowered prices on the final 30 condominiums and three townhomes at The Residences at The Grove, a maintenance-free community in downtown Forest Park.

New pricing includes:

  • One-bedroom condominiums from $139,900
  • One-bedroom-plus-den condominiums from $169,900
  • Two-bedroom, two-bath condominiums from $214,900
  • Two-bedroom plus den, two-and-a-half-bath townhomes from $299,900

Floor plans range in size from 813 square feet to 1,302 square feet for condominiums and from 1,708 to 1,904 square feet for townhomes. All homes include high-end finishes such as hardwood flooring in living areas; berber or plush carpeting in bedrooms; granite countertops; designer cabinetry; stainless steel appliances; and private balconies or terraces. One heated indoor parking space is included in the purchase price, and homes are available for immediate move-in.

The Residences at The Grove also features a full complement of upscale amenities including a fitness center, hospitality suite with kitchen, tot lot playground and lush landscaping surrounding a large outdoor terrace with fountain.

Located at 7757 Van Buren St., The Residences at The Grove is steps from the Forest Park station on the CTA Blue Line, which reaches downtown Chicago in less than 30 minutes. It is also just three blocks from Forest Park’s main dining, shopping and entertainment district along Madison Street. The area features a wide variety of restaurants, bars and local boutiques. The Oak Park Metra and I-290/88 are also nearby offering easy access to the city and far western suburbs.

“The Grove offers an incredible value for newer construction in an established suburban downtown,” said Michael Golden, co-founder of Chicago-based @properties, which is the exclusive sales and marketing firm for the community. “At these prices, owning a condominium or townhome is less expensive than renting a luxury apartment in the area, and the location cannot be beat.”

The Grove has been a popular choice among both first-time and move-down homebuyers, noted Tim Anderson, president of Focus Development. “People who want to enjoy an active lifestyle love the location and the on-site amenities,” Anderson said. “The area has an urban-neighborhood feel, but you’re less than 15 minutes from shopping in Oak Brook.”

Focus Development has been one of the most active developers in the area over the past several years, successfully completing a number of developments including The Mews and Euclid Commons in Oak Park and Madison Commons in Forest Park.

The Residences at The Grove is open Saturdays and Sundays, 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, or shown by appointment. For more information or to view the newly decorated model units, call 708.366.7665 or visit www.thegroveforestpark.com
