Russ Bergeron, the former CEO of MRED, is now the VP of Real Estate Digital’s data licensing group.

Former MRED CEO Russ Bergeron has joined Real Estate Digital (RED) as the VP of the firm’s data licensing group, according to a new report from Greg Robertson of Vendor Alley.

Bergeron, who resigned as MRED’s CEO in late June, will head a group of professionals that includes Jay Huffman (a former MRED CEO), Lisa Powell (of TheMLS/CLAW) and Paul Dixon (of Homes.com).

RED, Robertson reported, manages more than 1,200 data feeds.

“When I spoke to Russ,” Robertson wrote, “he was excited about being back in Orange County, and about joining RED because they have always been very ‘industry friendly and focused’ and a great group of people.”
