Describe your look: “Chicago Proper.” I like dressing up, not because I am really conscious of impressing others or keeping up with the latest styles, but more because I like feeling confident, feminine and put together for myself. I try to stick to basic pieces. I am inspired by trends, but don’t necessarily follow them.
What do you consider a “fashion don’t”? Wearing clothes that don’t fit right. Whether too big or too small, if it does not fit, toss it or donate it!
What is your favorite piece of clothing and why? My tall black suede boots by Delman. Every woman feels incredible in a pair of black boots.
What do you consider a must-have accessory? A great purse and sparkly earrings. I am not big on accessories, but those two I always have.
What is a fashion crime you have committed in the past? Wearing pantyhose was crime No. 1, and wearing the wrong color tone was crime No. 2.
Where are your favorite places to shop? Any store with an “open” sign. I always find fun pieces at Zara, Intermix and Denim Lounge. Online, I love Shopbop.com.
What, besides your wardrobe, completes your look? Fitness. I am addicted to the workout classes at Shred415 – they rock!
