The year of 2014 is proving to be a memorable one for Coldwell Banker Chicago residential broker Jennifer Ames, who celebrates 20 years on the Chicago real estate scene and claims the top selling agent ranking in the city of Chicago for Coldwell Banker.
A fifth-generation Chicagoan and great granddaughter of turn-of-the-century Gold Coast developer Nathanial Fairbank, Ames has been a leader in Chicago’s residential market since 1994, when her first year of sales was $2.4 million; Ames closed out 2013 with more than $142 million in sales, up 15 percent from 2012 sales.
“Jenny is truly a leader in our industry. Years of past success have led her to this monumental achievement. Her passion for real estate, business savvy, and extraordinary client service make her one of the top agents in the country,” said Fran Broude, President of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. “We are very proud to have such a talented professional as part of our organization.”
As president of Jennifer Ames Chicago, a boutique group within Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage that specializes in luxury homes, Ames has consistently been recognized as one of Coldwell Banker’s top agents. In 2013, Ames was the brokerage’s No. 1 agent in volume and ranked fourth nationally, out of Coldwell Banker Real Estate’s 42,100 agents.
