Chicagoland’s new construction markets have improved quite dramatically in the last year, but where, specifically, have new home sales been the strongest?
So far in 2013, Chicagoland’s new construction housing market has been putting up some smashing numbers. Not only did homebuilders, according to research by Tracy Cross & Associates, sell 1,343 homes in 2013’s second quarter, a jump of nearly 40 percent from 2012, but they are on pace to exceed 5,000 sales for the year, which would be the metropolitan area’s best year of new home sales since 2008.
