As founder of The Deborah Hess Chicago Group, Deborah leads her team in providing the highest quality, client-centric real estate service fueled by a “high-tech, high-touch” framework and her unsurpassed knowledge about the myriad of facets comprising the city she has called home her entire life. As a native Chicagoan, Deborah has a keen interest and vast experience in the marketing and sale of historic Chicago homes from significant bungalows in the northwest neighborhoods to historic Lakeview mansions. Deborah enjoys the challenge of working with both buyers and sellers, and uses her networking skills as well as her Premiere Agent status on the leading real estate websites, such as Zillow and Trulia to keep her listings in front of prospective purchasers, and cooperating agents. Deborah’s team offers many value added services to sellers, including staging consults, customized single property websites and narrated video for luxury homes, and interactive floor plans for all their listings.

Born and raised in Chicago’s Lake View neighborhood, Deborah is a proud product of Chicago Public Schools, Nettlehorst Elementary and Lake View High School, electing to stay in the city and attend DePaul University where she received her B.A. in Liberal Arts. An active member of the city’s civic and philanthropic circles, Deborah’s commitment of support for her community is best exemplified by her many years of volunteer service culminating in a role on the Board of Directors of The Chicago Children’s Choir, as well as her ongoing work with The Night Ministry to improve living conditions for the city’s homeless population.
