Chicago agent Patti Furman has been named the “No. 1 Sales Associate in North America in Total Units for 2011,” for her outstanding achievement of selling 375 units, resulting in $44.5 million in sales in 2011.
Furman has sold the most units nationally of more than 80,000 Coldwell Banker agents in 2011. To honor her global achievement, Coldwell Banker will be presenting this award to Furman at the Generation Blue Experience, an annual sales conference that Coldwell Banker hosts to celebrate its top-performing agents from Feb. 29 to March 3.
“With Patti’s integrity, respect and communication with her clients, it’s no surprise that she has become Coldwell Banker’s top selling agent in units in 2011,” said Fran Broude, president and COO of Coldwell Banker. “She is always up to speed on market trends and client needs. Combining her extensive knowledge with her superior ability to establish trusting relationships with both clients and realtors, she has a true recipe for success.”
Furman joined Glenview Coldwell Banker office in 1993 from Coldwell Banker Florida. Over the past 19 years, Furman has worked on the listing side of REO sales, and has been selling them exclusively since 1981.
“I have always known that to be successful, you need to go with the flow with REOs! It’s imperative to be honest about expectations with all parties involved in the transaction,” said Furman. “At the end of the closing, everyone needs to feel good about the transaction, and ultimately it’s my job to make sure that happens.”
