What was your first job in the realty industry? I got my license in 2007 and joined RE/MAX.

Where did you grow up? I grew up in Cuenca, Ecuador and moved to Rockville, Maryland when I was a teenager. I have been in the Chicago market for five years.

What is your favorite free-time activity? Golf, boating

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? I listen to music

If you weren’t a Realtor, what would you be? I used to be a programmer for business applications, and that is probably what I would be if I was not a Realtor.

If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? Warren Buffet, I like his investment philosophy

What makes your website stand out? Not much for asthetics, but how easy it is to navigate and request information

Where do you go to network and meet new clients? I use social media such as Facebook and others. I syndicate my listings to multiple real estate sites. Also, I participate in community events.

What was the last good movie you saw or book you read? I love science fiction, the last good movie I saw was “Avatar.”

What do you think every agent’s website must have? A simple and easy property search engine and a good lead capture form

What is your favorite restaurant? La Tasca, it’s a Spanish tapas restaurant

What is one important tip you have for agents who plan to redo their website on their own? The most important thing is how traffic is driven to the website. It’s very important to study the website statistics to understand clients’ behavior once they arrive there. Important factors to know is what pages they are visiting, where are they referred from, what page they are leaving, most clicked link and time of visit.
