What is the best thing about the company where you work?

Jameson

There are many things I like about being a part of a local, mid-size company like Jameson, but one key factor is growth. I love being a part of building the new company and its image. I have direct access to the managing broker, so my transactions always flow smoothly. With “corporate” in-house, the office environment is upbeat and positive and agents have access to the most advanced marketing and technology platforms in the industry. I work with the best agents in Chicago and learn every day.

My favorite part about Sudler Sotheby’s International Realty is being associated with the globally-recognized Sotheby’s brand. The company offers magnificent marketing pieces, international exposure through eGallery and global distribution of our brochures. I also enjoy having the association with Sotheby’s Auction houses worldwide. These perks work well with my niche in upper end properties in the Gold Coast, Streeterville and Lincoln Park. Wherever I am in the world, when I say I work for Sotheby’s Residential people recognize the name!

The advantage of working at a boutique office is that it gives you a quaint, family atmosphere. My office consists of three fellow agents and I feel that there is less distraction throughout the work day, less competition and leads are easy to pass around amongst each other. I have worked in a large office before, and I believe that everything comes down to the agent’s attitude. If I represent myself with high standards, good ethics and honesty toward my buyers or sellers, it is irrelevant whether I work at a boutique office or one that is extremely large.
