Blanchard Court

by Chicago Agent

Construction is now underway and sales have begun at Blanchard Court, Airhart Construction’s new community of 18 townhomes in Wheaton.

Located between downtown Wheaton and downtown Glen Ellyn, Blanchard Court is set one block from the Metra train station and a local shopping area.

Blanchard Court is expected to attract homebuyers who desire an active, modern lifestyle as well as an easy commute within a short walk or drive to area shops and restaurants.

The first phase of construction will consist of seven townhomes, for which sales have started.

Buyers can select from two designs: The Jonathan residence or The Charles residence. Both floor plans include two bedrooms, two and one-half bathrooms, a two-car garage and a finished family room with a high-efficiency furnace on the lower level. The main level features a kitchen equipped with stainless steel Energy Star appliances, a dining room, a great room and a powder room. The upper level hosts two bedrooms, with the option for a third bedroom. Base prices will start in the $390,000s, and both plans offer about 1,800 square feet.

The grounds will be professionally landscaped. First move-ins are expected in spring 2008.

Blanchard Court is accessible to downtown Chicago and area restaurants and retail shops. The Prairie Path and the Metra train station are each a block away, and a neighborhood commercial retail area featuring a convenience store, drycleaners, restaurant, pizza and sandwich shop and bookstore are two blocks away. Additionally, Blanchard Court is four blocks from the Wheaton College Campus.

Blanchard Court in Wheaton is located at the intersection of Avery and Blanchard. Until the models are ready for touring, sales will be conducted at Airhart’s Mackenzie Model home at 2004 N. Stoddard Ave. in Wheaton.
