Golf Invitational Raises $260,000

by Chicago Agent

More than 200 golfers helped raise more than $260,000 at the 44th annual Little City Invitational Golf Tournament (LCI) held July 30 at the Ivanhoe Club in north suburban Ivanhoe. Supporters who came to the “play your own ball” format event enjoyed golf across Ivanhoe’s 27 holes.

Proceeds from the LCI benefit the Palatine-based Little City Foundation, founded in 1959 and dedicated to helping children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities fulfill their personal goals and ambitions. This year’s golf tournament honored the residents of Little City, which included the presentation of the Morrie Kellman Award to residents of Little City attending the event. Kellman was a longtime supporter of Little City and the founder of the LCI Golf Tournament.
