Located at Route 173 and Savage Road, NeuHaven, a new community from Neumann Homes in Antioch, is comprised of 379 single-family homes measuring from 1,680 to 3,001 square feet. They have three to four bedrooms, two-and-one-half bathrooms and two- or three-car garages. Base prices range from $216,990 to $290,990. The community also offers four townhome floor plans, base-priced from $171,990 to $214,990. They measure from 1,445 to 1,681 square feet and have two to three bedrooms, one-and-one-half to two-and-one-half bathrooms and attached two-car garages.

The single-family floor plans in the community give buyers the choice of a variety of living space and bedroom configurations, as well as family friendly features such as lofts or game rooms and second-floor laundry rooms. Additionally, select floor plans allow buyers to add an extra bedroom, thereby accommodating buyers with large families or those who want space for a home office or dedicated guest room.

Neumann noted that the Dorsett, a 2,049-square-foot home with three bedrooms and two-and-one-half bathrooms, has been one of the best-selling floor plans in the community.

With a base price of $232,990, the Dorsett leaves many buyers with room in their budget for upgrades such as stepped ceilings in the dining room, a fireplace in the family room or master bedroom, or a master bath with a separate shower and soaking tub, a dual-bowl vanity and a water closet. Also, like several other floor plans at NeuHaven, the Dorsett also offers the option of a full look-out or walk-out basement.

About one quarter of NeuHaven is set aside as open space. There are nine ponds, 15 acres of preserved wetlands, native prairie, and groves of mature trees throughout the community. Additionally, the community includes Sprenger Park and Mary’s Park, which offer recreational and leisure options including softball, soccer and football fields; tennis and basketball courts; a gazebo; walking paths; and park benches.

To reach the NeuHaven sales center, take I-94 west to Route 173 (Rosecrans exit) and head four miles west. Turn right to head north on Deercrest. Follow signs to the sales center and model court on MacKenzie Drive. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday, and noon to 6 p.m. on Monday.
