Wauconda-based Deer Point Homes currently has many residences for sale at Sunset Point, a new community of 82 single-family homes in southwest-suburban Joliet.

Located on the south side of Joliet, near Interstate 53 and Pheasant Run Road, Sunset Point offers seven floor plans in ranch, split-level and two-story layouts. Homes measure 1,153 to 2,167 square feet and come standard with three to four bedrooms, one-and-one-half to two-and-one-half baths and attached two-car garages.

Another home available for viewing at Sunset Point features the Goodman floor plan, a 1,864-square-foot home with four bedrooms, two-and-one-half baths, a living and family room, and a full, unfinished basement, base-priced from the $220,000s.

The Goodman features modern décor, with furniture and wall colors in neutral shades complementing the upgraded maple hardwood floors throughout the first floor.

The kitchen has upgraded maple cabinets with crown molding, as well as features included in every home at Sunset Point: a gas range with hood; a dishwasher; and a double-bowl stainless steel sink. Just off the kitchen, the family room offers an electric fireplace and a television nook.
