The Priestley House in Canton, MS has turned skeptics into believers. Dr. Priestley and his wife, who built the home in 1852, both passed away on the property. As the keys to the house have passed hands, owners have reported seeing Mrs. Priestley’s ghost several times, as well as musical instruments playing on their own and candles dropping from their holders. These claims of supernatural activity led to an investigation of the property in an episode of the television show “The Unexplained Files.”
