On Sunday, Feb. 22, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices KoenigRubloff Realty Group held a pet adoption event at its Schaumburg office.

Chicagoland Dog Rescue, a foster based dog rescue in Schaumburg, and the KoenigRubloff Cares Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports local initiatives, brought together guests and dogs looking for a home to meet and interact.

“We had a wonderful turnout and are very excited that a lot of the community came out to meet these wonderful dogs and partake in a fun afternoon,” said Justin Greenberg, vice president and managing broker of BHHS Koenig Rubloff Realty Group’s Schaumburg office. “All in all it looks like three dogs were able to find a new home, which is fantastic.”

Guests enjoyed dog themed cookies and other snacks, soft drinks and water, while children participated in a coloring contest for prizes. Additionally, a local pet store gave away tennis balls for dogs.

Donations were accepted to benefit the Chicagoland Dog Rescue and Little City Foundation, which provides housing and programs to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
