Tony Abazi, Senior Mortgage Loan Officer

Neighborhood Loans

As a loan officer for almost two decades, Tony Abazi has earned a reputation for integrity and loyalty. He finds great joy in helping clients reach their homeownership dreams by taking time to carefully listen to their situations and reach the best solutions possible. By investing the time up front to answer questions and ask questions of his own, he ensures he is preparing them well.

Abazi believes that working toward the greater good has led him to do well in business and his personal life. “My passion is helping people think strategically about finance,” he explains. “During a mortgage, we review things like credit, assets, taxes and disposable income, and yes, we help clients get prequalified and buy a home. But it’s what we do during this process that makes us different; we look for ways to help clients build wealth. Every month after closing, we provide financial information to help clients be strategic with money.”

His motivation comes from personal experience. Abazi’s parents didn’t have the type of financial education he now provides, and the family struggled for years as a result. “The amount of fear and anxiety that created for our family was painful, and that feeling is the driving force behind why I do what I do,” he confides. “My mission is to not only provide a mortgage experience that is top notch but also to provide financial strategies that help clients and their families live their best lives.”

Scotsman Guide awarded Abazi the Top Originators Award in 2021, and he acknowledges his team as being instrumental to his success. “My team is my everything, next to my family,” he says. “Without them, I would not be where I am.”

When not serving clients, Abazi is with his wife, sons and other family members and friends. “Family is the most important thing we have in life,” he shares. “I do my best to give them the best of me, not what’s left of me.”
