Among Chicagoland’s top real estate producers, Lydia Memeti, broker and owner of RE/MAX Legends, has over thirty years of experience in multiple markets, especially the luxury sector. Memeti began her real estate career in 1991, a year after her husband and partner, Sam Memeti, began his. In 1992, they joined the RE/MAX family, where they have remained ever since. They have three children: twin daughters and a son. Their daughters have pursued successful careers in education and dentistry, and their son, Nick Memeti, followed the family tradition into real estate, becoming a prominent name in the mortgage industry. Together, the Memeti family has closed more than $1 billion in real estate transactions over the past 20 years.

“My husband and I began in the hospitality industry and I continue to embrace the client services skills I learned during that time in our real estate business,” says Memeti, whose entrepreneurial spirit has been unstoppable ever since she emigrated from Albania more than four decades ago. “Many of our clients say they don’t see us as agents but as part of their families.”

Memeti is excited and optimistic to continue to grow the Legends name with the most recent acquisition of a new location in Roselle. There appears to be no slowing down in the future for RE/MAX Legends. Its growth is on an upward trajectory and Memeti could not be any prouder of her team’s achievements.
