Lamont Ellebb, CEO

007 Security/Champagne Closings

Lamont Ellebb does more than sell security systems to homebuyers at closings. He sells peace of mind. With roots in Chicago but now headquartered in Atlanta, Ellebb educates buyers on how to protect their homes and offers tips on how to stay safe. Clients feel empowered by the knowledge they’ve gained and often tell him, “I never thought about this.”

By joining homebuyers on their final walkthrough, Ellebb — the owner of 007 Security, an ADT franchise, and CEO of Champagne Closings, a one-of-a-kind celebratory experience for homebuyers — can educate them on home-life safety. “Asking the right questions allow me to design their 007 Security System to protect their home and family within 48 hours after closing,” he explains.

Since trademarking the Champagne Closings brand to separate himself from everyone else in the residential alarm industry, Ellebb has continuously reinvented himself and grown Champagne Closings globally throughout the past three decades. In addition, his ADT franchise is now licensed in 44 states. Never one to sit still, he’s currently poised to add motivational speaking to his resume. “I have the ability to bring out the best in people through mentoring and motivational speaking, and my hard work and faith in God help me rise above the competition,” he says.

Networking and educating clients about home security has helped Ellebb cultivate relationships and provided immense opportunities to promote his brand. He estimates 90% of his clients are referrals from loan officers, Realtors and insurance agents. The lifelong entrepreneur recently spearheaded his first real estate expo, which was a highlight of the past year.

An active congregant at St. John Missionary Baptist Church, Ellebb is a member of the Dr. A. Edward Davis Jr. Pastor’s Appreciation Committee, or P.A.C. His philanthropy work includes helping the church provide food for the Roseland community. He is also the proud father of daughter Dr. Taylor N. Ellebb, a 2024 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Medicine.
