For Amy Foote and Jim Foote, managing partners of Keystone Home Hub at Compass, real estate is truly a family business. Jim initially decided to pursue real estate because of the encouragement of his uncle. That same uncle introduced Jim and Amy just a few years later. Now the couple’s daughter works for her parents, and the family couldn’t be happier to work together every day.

The Keystone Home Hub team is dynamic and balanced. “I am high energy,” Amy says. “I go at 100 mph all the time and I love it!” Clients often describe Jim as kind, patient and helpful. The couple explains that just like the keystone in an architectural structure brings and holds parts together, they strive to bring together highly successful real estate agents dedicated to serving clients and uplifting their teammates. The group earns Legends Society status each year at Compass.

Though a vast majority of their business comes from the northwest suburbs, Keystone Home Hub serves over 55 communities across Chicagoland with agents focused as far south as South Holland, as far west as Rockford and as far north as the Wisconsin border. Keystone Home Hub agents specialize in helping first-time homebuyers, upgrade buyers and clients looking to downsize. Jim and Amy Foote bring a combined 58 years of experience to their dealings with clients. “We’ve seen the highs and lows, the good and the bad, and we’ve made it through it all,” they share. Amy explains that guiding clients through the stressful and confusing parts of homebuying with knowledge and kindness is paramount. “[Clients] do this a few times in their lives” she says, “We do it every day, and our processes put them at ease.”

Jim and Amy eagerly anticipate the marriage of their daughter and her fiancé this summer. Amy shares that walking her daughter down the aisle will be her greatest personal accomplishment to date. Both parents are exceedingly proud and happy.
