Dan Rogers, Senior Vice President of Mortgage Lending & Strategic Growth

Rate

“I start every day with the same passion, love for this business and desire to help people that I had in 1986,” says Dan Rogers, in spite of more than three decades in the industry. He specializes in down payment assistance loans for first-time buyers, VA loans and helping customers create a plan to home ownership.

In 2018, Rate awarded Rogers its Top Net Promoter Score Award. As leader of The Rogers Team, he’s currently ranked 108th in the country and No. 4 in Illinois for purchase loans closed in 2023. Rate was No. 1 in the state for the number of grants provided to homebuyers through the Illinois Housing Development Authority.

“Personable” is the word that constantly crops up when clients describe working with Rogers. “Buying a home can be scary and stressful,” he remarks. “I understand that and try to make it as smooth and easy as possible.” His goal is to make sure clients never have to wonder about their transaction status. “I’m very routine and process-oriented. My follow-up is second to none,” he says. He also strives to keep the human element involved in digital transactions, believing a home is the most important purchase of a client’s life.

Rogers supports the Guaranteed Rate Foundation, the Disabled Patriot fund and youth sports. He hosts and sponsors fundraisers for local organizations such as Together We Cope and Filling The Gap, and the charitable trust he founded helps others in need. He’s an active marathoner and past Ironman triathlete. He’s also a vegan with a passion for good wine who lives by The Rogers Team motto: “Helping people with a mortgage is not our job, it is our lifestyle.”
