Cindy Koutsovitis, Senior Vice President of Mortgage Lending

Rate

Cindy Koutsovitis feels lucky to have played a part in so many of her clients’ important “next life chapter” decisions. The senior vice president of mortgage lending at Rate has been connecting clients with local, market-specific solutions for 22 years. Scotsman Guide has consistently ranked Koutsovitis among its top originators and one of the top women originators. She explains that first-time homebuyers are inundated with advice from family, friends and the media, which can be overwhelming. “While these all might have value, what matters is what program, down payment, or even home is the right fit for you,” she says. “Educate yourself with the right resources, and remember there isn’t a single source out there that can teach a homeowner like an experienced mortgage professional can.”

Throughout her career, Koutsovitis has focused on what she calls small wins, like successfully supporting a client, weathering tough market conditions, making wise choices and staying consistent. “To me, those small wins along the way built the big win, which is where I am today.” Koutsovitis says that her love for people sets her apart. She enjoys connecting with clients from a variety of backgrounds and has worked with all kinds of people, including small-business owners and high-level executives. For Koutsovitis, client interactions are the most rewarding aspect of her job, and she relishes the feeling of helping her clients achieve their goals. “My business style is result driven,” she explains. “Every client to me matters, and every real estate transaction to me matters, because I know that there are a lot of people working towards one goal, and my path is to make sure that we meet that end goal, every single time.”

In her free time, Koutsovitis enjoys spending time with her daughter and family. She shares that watching her child grow up and experience the world for the first time has been a life-changing experience.
