Starting his real estate journey in 1992 in Kyiv, Ukraine, Aleksandr Katsman emerged as a trailblazer, among the first 14 professionals in the city’s burgeoning real estate scene. After three successful years, he made the bold decision to emigrate to the United States with his family, seeking brighter opportunities. Originally holding a degree in music, Katsman initially pursued a career in that field before transitioning to computer programming upon settling in Chicago. Yet, his passion for real estate never waned.
Today, as the managing broker and partner at Barr Agency Real Estate Consultants in both Illinois and Florida, Katsman expertly oversees all facets of the company’s sales operations. His current focus is on the dynamic Florida market, where his extensive knowledge and unwavering dedication shine through. Revered for his integrity, Katsman provides steadfast support and guidance to his clients. “From the very first meeting, I emphasize honesty, trust and effective communication,” he says. “My ultimate goal is to ensure my clients not only find a home they love but also continue to thrive there for many years.”

Beyond real estate, Katsman has a profound love for music, soccer, hockey and ocean swims. “Family is the cornerstone of my life,” he shares. “I derive immense joy from guiding my three children as they grow and flourish.”
