Lori Spruiell, Realtor/Property Manager

Baird & Warner Real Estate

Lori Spruiell describes her business superpowers as having a sense of humor and being a goal getter. “I often try to keep my clients laughing to counter the stress associated with navigating a real estate transaction,” says Spruiell, a Realtor and property manager with Baird & Warner. “I try to keep my clients on course and provide gentle reminders of the things they say are most important.”

Spruiell’s 25-plus year real estate career spans the city of Chicago and the surrounding suburbs, and she specializes in the south suburbs and the South Side of Chicago. “I’ve lived in Chicago for all of my life and have spent the past 15 years expanding my knowledge of the south suburbs,” she shares. “Having experienced both urban and suburban living, I draw on my life experiences in both markets when helping buyers, sellers, renters and investors interested in purchasing real estate,” she says.

Spruiell credits her success to staying the course. “I’ve learned not to give up and throw in the towel so easily. You may not always win, but you must never quit,” she says. Her formula for success starts at the first client meeting. “I start by setting realistic expectations about availability, communication and follow-up,” she explains. “We determine their motivations, inspirations, goals and desires. I make certain they understand the process and make every effort to answer any initial questions that they may have.”

Spruiell’s clients consider her an asset to their team because of her honesty and integrity. “My clients enjoy working with me because they feel that they can trust me,” she says. “I explain the processes clearly and take a lot of the guesswork out of buying a home.”

Their trust has recently earned her the ranking of No. 1 agent in the Harvey, Ill., market. “It’s a good feeling to know that you are helping to grow markets in communities that tend to be underserved. When families and communities win, we all win!”

Spruiell is a proud member of the National Association of Realtors, the MainStreet Organization of Realtors and the Women’s Council of Realtors.
