Kyle Capone, Real Estate Consultant

The Capone Group at Baird & Warner

Baird & Warner honored real estate consultant Kyle Capone with it’s Presidents Club Recognition in 2019 and a Certificate of Achievement for Outstanding Performance in 2020. But his most high-profile achievement to date is, perhaps, his appearance on an episode of HGTV’s House Hunters Chicago.

Capone, who works in Lincoln Park, Chicago and the surrounding suburbs, started his professional life as a banking analyst where he became an expert on a variety of markets and sectors of the economy. That’s where he decided that the Chicago real estate industry was where he wanted to be. He says those days as an analyst help him better inform clients of their options when searching for a home. “My clients appreciate the honest real estate insight and overall market knowledge I use to accomplish their goals,” he says.

His tell-it-like-it-is approach might not come as a surprise, considering his last name, Capone says with a laugh, adding, “Having a last name like Capone and being an established real estate broker in the city of Chicago certainly gets its fair share of comments.”
While the name is easy to remember — always a feather in any broker’s cap — Capone says it’s his attention to detail and professionalism that gets him the repeat business.

“When people have a good experience or good conversation with me, they remember, and they mention my name,” he explains. “I’ve had great success in follow-up because I remember details that others forget, and it resonates well when I bring up the conversation or topic at a later date.” Those referrals have landed him the biggest deals of his career, including a $3.5 million South Loop penthouse, a $2.9 million retail shopping center and a $1.3 million grocery store.

Capone is a past President of the Rotary Club of Chicago Lakeview and is a recipient of the Paul Harris Fellowship for philanthropy and volunteer work with the March of Dimes and other organizations.
