Ana Garcia, Home Lending Advisor

JPMorgan Chase

Working as a personal banker for seven years, Ana Garcia felt thrilled watching families open their first bank accounts, secure their first car loans and, later on, purchase their first homes. Seeing clients come into the branch excited about their purchases and grateful for her assistance drove Garcia to become a home lending advisor with JPMorgan Chase. Personally fulfilling, the position gives her an opportunity to do more at the company and in her city.

“I knew I wanted to help my community with not only their accounts but also with big decisions like purchasing their first home or refinancing,” says Garcia, who has worked in the banking industry for 19 years. Still, she is grateful for all of the customer-relations skills she built as a personal banker, tools she utilizes daily when working with consumers, agents and bank partners.

A caring person who treats clients like family, Garcia always explains every step of the mortgage lending process to borrowers, never leaving them clueless as to what they are committing to and always keeping them involved. “I make sure to mention that while the loan is in process, I will be walking with them side by side,” she says. “They know they are never alone.” Her ability to develop long-lasting relationships with everyone involved in the lending process has led to a lot of referral business.

Garcia’s personal touch and expertise resulted in her closing 122 loans in 2019. For two consecutive years, she has been ranked among the top 250 loan officers in the country by the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals. She also earned JPMorgan Chase’s 2018 and 2019 National Achiever award for sales.

Garcia has traveled all over the world, recently getting her passport stamped in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Experiencing different cultures and meeting interesting people is her favorite activity.
