Real estate is deep within LaHa’s family’s roots. Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, LaHa followed in his father’s footsteps when he became a second-generation broker. “My diverse knowledge of condos, townhomes and single-family homes, as well as my work with developers on new construction projects, gives me the versatility and flexibility to meet clients’ needs,” he says. Throughout his many years in the business, LaHa has consistently been recognized as a top producer by the Chicago Association of Realtors and the Mainstreet Organization of Realtors. He assists all categories of buyers, as well as builders and developers, in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs.
His biggest accomplishment this past year has been breaking into the luxury market. “After joining Sotheby’s International Realty, I’ve been able to utilize the brand’s global reach, my experience and local expertise to double my average listing price, including several luxury listings ranging from $1 million to $3.5 million,” he says.
LaHa takes the extra step to drive home a sale by customizing a marketing strategy for each property he lists and sells. He prioritizes clients’ goals by representing their best interests in buying and selling with professionalism, integrity, market expertise and, most importantly, results. In the fast-changing real estate market, LaHa keeps his finger on the pulse of the latest housing inventory, financing and market activity information, then maximizes the value of that data for the benefit of his clients. He and his wife, Colleen, now call the South Loop home. They enjoy being close to the lakefront as well as downtown Chicago and all the city has to offer. Each month, they support a different charity by participating in a fundraising event.
