Kathryn Bader Mangel and Kelly O’Connell Mangel are self-described “hometown experts,” and as consultants, advisors and brokers for Team Mangel with @properties, they share their love of the North Shore living experience with a wide variety of clients. Working with renters, first-time buyers, single parents, families, move-up professionals, corporate executives and relocation clients, Team Mangel specializes in the Kenilworth, Wilmette, Winnetka, Northfield and Glencoe communities, and they have been the No. 1 agents in Kenilworth for the last four consecutive years.
“We focus on finding our buyers, sellers and renters the perfect real estate solutions for their families,” they say, adding that they have collectively worked in the industry for 25 years and offer 24/7 availability and hands-on guidance from the beginning to the end of every transaction. “We are smart businesswomen, hard workers and employ the best real estate resources for our clients.”
Prior to joining the real estate industry, Kathryn and Kelly worked for IBM and Aon respectively, gaining customer service and marketing skills and learning how to be innovative while listening to a client’s needs. “Our backgrounds developed our professional attitudes and shaped who we are today,” they say. They attribute their success in part to the values they developed while in the corporate world.
In 2018, Team Mangel has already closed a $12 million transaction in Winnetka. Their total closed volume in 2017 was over $42 million. “Every time someone purchases, sells or rents a home with us, it is a wonderful accomplishment,” they say.
Both Kathryn and Kelly earned Coldwell Banker’s Rookie of the Year award at the beginning of their careers and have since earned multiple accolades for their production totals and overall service, including the Coldwell Banker President’s Elite Team award, Coldwell Banker’s International President’s award, Chicago magazine’s Outstanding Service award, Chicago Agent’s Top Producer award and @properties’ Road to Rolex honor. They’ve also ranked among the top 1 percent of real estate agents nationwide. Kathryn has attained the designation of Certified Residential Specialist.
Kathryn and Kelly are members of the North Shore–Barrington Association of Realtors and are heavily involved in their communities through volunteer work and other philanthropic efforts.
