Grand opening of 61 Banks Street – 6.19

by Chicago Agent

To celebrate the new boutique rental community overlooking the lakefront in the Gold Coast, developer Draper and Kramer hosted two events in June. The first even offered a look inside the eight-story building and its rooftop-level amenity spaces.  On June 19, the company hosted a panel discussion at the Chicago Architecture Center entitled, “Design Dialogues: A Discussion on Gold Coast Architecture and Design Over Time.” Moderated by architectural historian Susan Benjamin, the panel featured members of the 61 Banks Street design team: architect Laurence Booth of Booth Hansen, interior architect Darcy Bonner of Darcy Bonner & Associates and landscape architect Bernard Jacobs of Jacobs/Ryan Associates.
