Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates LLC today announced that Jameson Real Estate in Chicago has signed an agreement to join its luxury real estate network and will be re-branding its operation as Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty within the next days and weeks.
Jameson Real Estate is led by Chris Feurer, chief executive officer, and Mike Sato, president, and operates at 425 West North Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60610, with approximately 250 agents serving the Chicago market area.
“We are thrilled that Jameson has been awarded the opportunity to carry the Sotheby’s International Realty brand in Chicago,” says Feurer. “We think this is the right time to affiliate with an international brand, and intend to grow our market share in the Chicago market and beyond.”
In representing the Sotheby’s International Realty brand, Jameson Real Estate replaces McNair, Inc., which did business as Sudler Sotheby’s International Realty in Chicago. Effective January 10, 2011, Sudler is no longer an affiliate of the Sotheby’s International Realty network.
“We are very pleased that Jameson Real Estate will be joining our network of fine firms and that their office in the Near North Side will be representing us in Chicago,” says Philip White, president and chief operating officer, Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates LLC. “They share our core values and will provide this important metropolitan market with the highest level of service.”
The Sotheby’s International Realty network currently has more than 11,000 sales associates located in approximately 500 offices in 42 countries and territories worldwide.
Congrats to the Jameson team! Sotheby’s name will add to the tradition of the Jameson name in Chicago.
