Number of years in real estate: 14 and a half
Describe your look: I have been described as having a unique fashion sense that is my own style, very me. I always try to push the boundaries of fashion while maintaining a certain elegance. My son called it “refined indie,” and I find that extremely apropos.
What do you consider a “fashion don’t”? Wearing orange with red and wearing clothes that are too tight.
What is your favorite piece of clothing and why? I have this beautiful, simple black lace dress. I originally purchased it to stand up in my best friend’s (at the time) wedding. We were permitted to choose a black dress that suited us and that was a good 15 to 20 years ago. I love the dress, and aside from having recently taken the shoulder pads out of it, have not had to change it at all. Every time I wear it I receive compliments on it. It is truly a special piece.
What do you consider a must-have accessory? Jewelry.
What is a fashion crime you have committed in the past? Wearing the wrong shoes.
Where are your favorite places to shop? Sunflower in Highland Park, Nordstrom Rack, DSW and Bloomingdales.
What, besides your wardrobe, completes your look? My hair and makeup. Since I’ve been in high school, my hair has to be perfect. I am extremely particular about how it is cut and how I fix it each day. My eye makeup is quite important, as well, as my eyes are what many people notice about me.
