Vice President of Residential Lending
Draper and Kramer Mortgage Corp.
Ralph Saile’s idea of good customer service goes beyond just meeting his clients’ expectations. Not only does he keep his promises and deliver high-quality results, he’s also steadfast in his commitment to respecting everyone he works with, regardless of who they are and what they’re looking for. “Remember the golden rule,” Saile says. “Treat others the way you would like to be treated.”
In 1998, after 14 years in the travel industry, Saile entered into the mortgage business thanks to his appreciation of the real estate industry, home purchasing and working with numbers. He also wanted to provide others with a better experience than the ones he had received when dealing with mortgage loan officers in his own life.
At the advice of an acquaintance, Saile worked in a bank for a year before joining the real estate industry. Now, he is vice president of residential lending at Draper and Kramer Mortgage Corp. and works with all types of buyers in Chicago, Greater Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana and Tennessee. He particularly enjoys helping first-time homebuyers with Illinois Housing Development Authority grant loans as well as assisting veterans.
In 2016, Saile helped 160 families purchase homes, totaling $34 million in volume. He was also ranked among the top 1 percent of mortgage originators by Mortgage Executive Magazine and received the Five Star Mortgage Professional Award for the third year in a row.
Saile is a member of the Women’s Council of Realtors Northwest chapter and is part of the exclusive “Mortgage Coach power users group” for those who use Mortgage Coach software. He is also dedicated to helping the organizations Wounded Warriors and Save the Children.
In his spare time, Saile enjoys golfing, soccer, reading and spending time with his wife and four children. “Family is the most important thing to me,” he says.
