Pete Chrysanthou

President
Prime Real Estate Group

Pete Chrysanthou has always been enamored with real estate and when it came time to change careers, entering the industry and creating Prime Real Estate Group was the most obvious path. “For as long as I could remember, I would pick up real estate magazines instead of textbooks, and watch real estate shows before the mainstream knew what HGTV was,” he says.

Six years later, Chrysanthou is president of his own company and works alongside Prime’s construction affiliate, XP Construction and investment arm, Accel Capital, to offer clients a full range of services including residential real estate, investments, renovations and development. Thanks to the partnership, Prime is able to get investment and traditional homes ready to sell at their maximum value as well as work with investor clients on everything from acquisition to disposition. “We consistently beat the average market time among comps and in many cases we’re creating new price ceilings,” he says.

One of Chrysanthou’s proudest accomplishments was going under contract on a home in its drywall stage. “We returned a few weeks later for a final walkthrough. It was the first time the client had seen the finished product and she was brought to tears. I recorded the reaction on my phone and will occasionally watch it. It reinforces the impact my work has on people’s lives. She still calls and tells me how much she loves her home.”

Chrysanthou is available around the clock and has a profound understanding of both the investment and retail sides of the real estate industry. He has received recognition for his work from Chicago Association of Realtors, including the honor of being named the youngest top producer. He is a proud husband and father and an active volunteer with Saints Constantine and Helen Church in Palos Hills. He is also a member of Homes for Heroes, which has contributed over $15 million to help police, firefighters, educators, medical professionals and members of the military get into homes, while also offering rebates for the services they provide.
