There is a wall full of letters in Naseem El-Barbarawi’s office handwritten by clients thanking him for his hard work and dedication. With 15 years in the industry, the broker’s wall at his Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty office has become quite full. “I love it when I receive an unexpected handwritten note from a client expressing how happy they were with their real estate experience with me,” he says. “I have personal notes saved since I first stepped into the real estate world. It reminds me why I love my career.”

El-Barbarawi’s client base includes sellers, buyers, investors and relocation clients. He focuses on selling single-family homes, condos and multi-unit investment properties. “Clients choose me to sell their property because of my experience as a listing agent and expertise on current market conditions. I study the market constantly and help my clients understand it and advise them according to their specific needs. Handling tough negotiations is one critical skill clients come to rely on when working with El-Barbarawi. “I advise clients on how to prepare the property for the market by suggesting what needs to be done to get the property sold,” he says. “I coordinate everything needed to get a home ready in short deadline situations to make it as easy and painless as possible for them.”

Each year, El-Barbarawi has dramatically increased his business, which he credits to the dedication of serving his clients with the highest level of service. Professional organizations, including the Chicago Association of Realtors, recognize his success as well, ranking him as a top producer throughout his career. Last year, NRT, the nation’s largest residential brokerage, listed El-Barbarawi in the top 1,000 of 47,000 agents nationwide within the company. He has received the President’s Circle and Diamond Society honorary awards.

But no accolade can compare to the feeling he gets from successfully helping clients achieve their goals. “By the time a transaction is complete, my clients and I have a trust with each other that nothing else compares to,” he says. “There is a great connection and relationship made knowing they will be a client and friend for life.”
