Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty
Mark Raffaelli is a broker with Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty specializing in the West Loop, River North and Bucktown markets and catering to first time home buyers, sellers and investors. In addition to his 15 years of experience, Raffaelli is frequently recognized by the Chicago Association of Realtors for being a top producer and praised by his clients for his ability to walk even the most novice of buyers through each step of the process with ease.
Raffaelli learned from a young age that success is about quality customer service. It’s a lesson he learned spending his youth in his family’s restaurant business. Although real estate proved to be his true calling, having been on both sides of the customer service table has allowed Raffaelli to bring a certain advantage to his job with which few can compete. “If you don’t consistently provide high-quality customer service, you are going to lose a client. I love what I do and enjoy making my client’s happy so this approach is natural for me.”
Some of Raffaelli’s professional accolades this year include implementing new systems and strategies within his personal practice that helped to nearly double his business. He is also branching out of his specialty neighborhoods, including the selling of a 50,000-square-foot building in Pilsen that is now being converted into a trendy mixed-use space fit for the neighborhood’s energy and rich cultural heritage. Both accomplishments could not have been achieved without his signature trait of consistent, high-quality customer service.
Outside of real estate, Raffaelli recently became a husband and father and enjoys cooking new recipes for his family. He volunteers with Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital and helped to raise money, clothes, and food for the 2016 flood disaster victims in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
