As co–founder and president of LifStyl Real Estate and Prime Real Estate, Joshua Lybolt serves brokers in Chicago, Michigan, Indiana and Tennessee. His companies are more personal growth companies that specialize in residential and commercial sales, as well as new construction. Prime Real Estate’s early years were during one of the worst real estate economies, a time when the firm nevertheless underwent dramatic growth. In 2016, it made the list of 900 of the fastest growing companies in the United States and was submitted for the 2016 INC 5,000. Based on last year’s growth, Lybolt anticipates ranking in the top 1,000 again for 2017.
Prime Real Estate develops new products and systems that help brokers be more efficient and maximize exposure. Lybolt’s team works to stay ahead of real estate industry trends, innovating and improving areas of real estate that haven’t been changed in decades. “It is important to us to build a company that uplifts our family of brokers as individual people and improve their quality of life,” Lybolt says.
He believes the complexities of today’s real estate transactions require more substantial training for agents. “Ours is an agent-centric model, we care more about how our agents live and love their life than the sales they produce,” he says. “We inspire and motivate our brokers. We coach them to achieve new heights while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.”
From 2001 to 2007, Lybolt was a visiting faculty member at Purdue University Calumet where he taught corporate financial management, personal finance, microeconomics and macroeconomics. He also created and taught two real estate courses. During this time, he successfully developed commercial properties and residential subdivisions.
Lybolt cofounded a foundation, PrimeGives, that focuses around developing children, assisting the homeless and supporting cancer charities. He also leads efforts to reestablish relationships with local elected officials, community leaders and clients, improving customer satisfaction, awareness and support.
In his time away from the office, Lybolt enjoys traveling, skiing, working out and spending time with his wife and business partner, Magdalena “Mags” Lybolt, and their two sons.
