Senior Vice President of Residential Lending
Draper and Kramer Mortgage Corp.

James R. Tausché has seen every facet of the mortgage industry during his 26-year career. Since entering the business, he has worked in both inside and outside sales and owned and managed his own mortgage company. Today, Tausché is back in full-time mortgage origination as senior vice president of residential lending at Draper and Kramer Mortgage Corp. He is ranked among the Top 1% of Mortgage Originators in America by Mortgage Executive magazine and has been named a Five Star Mortgage Professional.

Providing exceptional service and value to all of his customers is Tausché’s mission. He believes his success hinges on the invaluable relationships he builds and maintains with customers and referral sources alike. “I’m not only a trusted, experienced advisor to my clients, but also someone who truly keeps their best interests at heart,” he says. “Our reputation is built on being fast, efficient and transparent, and we’re available 24/7 to everyone we serve.”

According to Tausché, constant communication is key to successfully navigating the mortgage process. “Buying a home is stressful, but knowing the financing of your home is moving forward without issue can help alleviate that stress,” he says. “Constant communication goes beyond just the buyer to all the parties in the transaction. When everyone knows where things stand, the process is smoother and everyone is happier. That’s one of many benefits I strive to provide.”

Tausché works with a wide range of buyers and professionals, including first time-buyers, high-net-worth investors, real estate agents, attorneys, builders and financial planners. He primarily serves clients in Chicagoland and Illinois in addition to his other licensed states of Indiana, Wisconsin, Ohio, Florida and Colorado.

Outside the office, Tausché is an avid golfer, a part-time runner, a lifelong Cubs fan, a devoted husband and a proud father.
