Elmhurst native and Lincoln Park resident Jennifer Mills Klatt believes in doing the best she can every day, and the outstanding achievements of her 27-year career prove that this is a deep-rooted belief. Klatt has been a top producer for more than two decades, and her team annually exceeds $80 million in sales volume. She ranks among the Chicago Association of Realtors top 1 percent of producers. Klatt was also the No. 3 Realtor in her company in 2015, her most successful year yet. Thanks to her unquestionable knowledge of the city and its neighborhoods, she has executed thousands of transactions for people looking to buy and sell high-rise condominiums and single-family homes, or lease commercial and retail space.

Klatt met several brokers during her former career as a leasing agent, and that led her to pursue real estate as a career. She founded her Home Discovery Team brokerage more than 25 years ago, later opting to affiliate with Koenig & Strey – now Berkshire Hathaway KoenigRubloff – to expand her reach in the Chicagoland market. She has also helped coach and mentor some of the most accomplished Realtors in the industry, including members of her own family. While the market has experienced numerous shifts over time, neither her passion for what she does nor her commitment to client satisfaction have wavered. “I love what I do, even after almost 30 years, and not many people can say they’re excited about their work every day,” says Klatt. “My strategy is consistent: I’m professional yet aggressive to ensure my clients emerge from every transaction feeling like a winner.”

The mother of a son and daughter, Klatt actively volunteers at their school and her church, two places she finds she can connect more deeply with the community she calls home.
