With more than three decades of combined experience, Gwen Farinella and Erin Ward of Related Realty are the powerful team commissioned by Related Midwest to lead the sales program for One Bennett Park. Born and raised in Chicago, Farinella has an inherent appreciation for the city’s architecture, and witnessed its evolution into a place people around the world yearn to call home. She specializes in development projects for buyers and sellers. “I spent 12 years in senior management at a woman’s apparel manufacturer and that taught me about merchandising, planning, selling, and analyzing trends. I rely on all of these skills as a Realtor,” she says. A Certified Negotiation Expert and Institute for Luxury Home Marketing member, Farinella has represented and sold multiple new construction projects for Related, including The Residences on Lake Shore Park, and 340 on the Park. She says her job challenges her to think outside of the box. “No two days and no two clients are exactly alike, and that’s what makes this career so interesting,” she says.

Ward also possesses extensive expertise in new construction and luxury residential sales. Her designations include Certified Negotiation Expert, Certified Relocation Specialist, Trulia 5-Star Agent, Zillow Premier Agent, and she is currently pursuing a Green Designation from the National Association of Realtors. She launched her career selling a new River North development in 2000, after which she successfully sold 980 landmark rehabbed units at the old South Water Produce Market. Ward also worked on the 12-building Museum Park Campus sales team before joining Related where she assisted in selling 500 units in three buildings within the South Loop Luxury by Related portfolio. “I have a thorough understanding of what it takes to plan, build, launch, and sell new construction. I’ve also spent the past 16 years working with an array of buyers, sellers, and investors,” she explains.

Both Farinella and Ward have been recognized by the Chicago Association of Realtors as top producers over the past several years. While they believe in working hard, they also advise not to sweat the little things at the expense of enjoying the here and now. “We always set goals for ourselves and revisit them often. It keeps us on track to know where we are today and where we want to be tomorrow.”
