Broker/Owner, RE/MAX Plaza;
President, Midwest Real Estate Data, LLC
Besides being the managing broker/owner of a successful multi-office real estate firm, RE/MAX Plaza in McHenry County, Rob Schaid is a dynamic mentor and trainer, representing some of the nation’s top real estate training institutes, including Richard Robbins International, the Tom Ferry Organization and Buffini & Company. This expertise enables Schaid to offer these classes within his company while he continuously draws on his experiences to help catapult his brokerage to the top. Schaid makes it a point to craft an enjoyable and supportive atmosphere in his offices, one that appeals to both fledgling agents and those experienced agents looking to rejuvenate their careers.
“I recently had an agent join our office because they were so burned out they were going to change companies or quit the business,” he says. “After they completed our 14-week training program, they felt they again had a business that they loved, and were ecstatic to be able to make a living while doing something they enjoyed.”
As if all this weren’t enough, Schaid is in his second term as president of Midwest Real Estate Data, Chicagoland’s multiple listing service, where he continues efforts to improve the technology and mobility of the MLS to further enable the success of all brokerages.
Schaid is looking to expand his influence throughout Chicagoland. He is currently opening his fourth office, and intends on building RE/MAX Plaza – already an “up and comer” in the noted Real Trends report – into the top real estate company in all of McHenry County.
